Thus, the study aimed to provide rural tourism destination managers with a valuable guide on how to boost loyalty rates, thus promoting the competitiveness of their destinations and companies through repeated visits and recommendations. The research was conducted in Spain but the findings relate to other countries and regions where rural tourism has developed and faces similar challenges.

Planned Behaviour Theory 1985 by Azjen.
According to Azjen (1985), the theory of planned behaviour consider intention and perceived control as other important determinants for health behaviour. Intention towards a behaviour is shaped by the person’s attitudes and subjective norm (expectancies of social environment) which act as pros and cons towards a behaviour. Perceived control emerged from work on locus of control and perceived self-efficacy and it was assumed that intention and perceived control interact.
The implications for patient education are consider attitudes, reinforce the advantages of the target behaviour and address barriers. Next, develop strategies for improving control over environmental factors (for example, problem solving strategies). And also take into account social environment and influences.
